tech edc

I started this collection of sorts, around three years ago with the purchase of this DS Lite, I used to go to the second hand tech store almost every other day looking for a DS, I was given a DS lite in the past by a family member, but my mother threw it away! And I've wanted a DS again ever since, I was intending to get another DS Lite, but this colour is so cool, it was in the shop and I had money, so I got it. I haven't yet homebrewed it, but I will in the future.

I hadn't necessarily planned on decentralizing my phone, I was aware it was a thing, I like fun tech, and most of all I like useful tech. Sometime later when I got into audio I became distraught at the concept of using bluetooth audio, but I had no headphone jack! I wasted more money than I could afford trying to find a work around, but I eventually gave up and got the Snowsky echo mini, it's great, sounds amazing, does what it says on the tin.

This year is when this plan really came into action, I got some money from the government and the one job I did, I caved, finally I could do what I've really wanted, have an EDC that really suites my needs, I don't have to be stuck with boring tech that I don't really like and I feel trapped in to using, now I can do all I would want from a phone when going out, making calls and texts, reading, listening to music, take photos, and even play games, all whilst safe in the knowledge that I'll only bring with me what I need, that I actually own these products, and I actually want them.

The best part of this is that it all costs less than a flagship smartphone, coming in at around £425, but I will be selling my old phone, Ipad and Apple pen to make back the cost of the Jelly star, making it around £300, which yes, is more expensive than any phone I've ever had, but it was brought over a number years, with the DS and Gopro being second-hand, so I consider it money well spent.

I like tech, it is like an infinite toy, I'm always using it, we all are, so why should it be boring?
